COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, April 22, 2025 — The Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC) is proud to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the French Space Command (Commandement de l’Espace) during CYSAT USA, which took place the week of the 40th Annual Space Symposium. This incredible milestone marks a significant step in expanding Space ISAC’s global footprint and solidifying its role as a leading international convener in space security and resilience.

This agreement is a pivotal move to deepen global collaboration and information sharing in the space sector. It underscores our shared commitment to strengthening resilience, improving cross border threat intelligence, and fostering global collaboration to secure the space domain.

The formal signing took place following a distinguished panel at CYSAT USA, where Major General Philippe Adam, Commander of the French Space Command, joined Erin Miller, Executive Director of Space ISAC, and Samuel Sanders Visner, Chair of the Space ISAC Board. Together, they conducted the ceremonial signing of the MOU, marking the beginning of a new chapter in collaboration between the two organizations.

“This partnership represents another milestone in Space ISAC’s mission to serve as the most comprehensive source for space sector security and threat sharing,” said Erin Miller, Executive Director of Space ISAC. “We are honored to welcome the French Space Command as our newest international partner and are excited about the potential this collaboration unlocks for our global space community.”

Samuel Sanders Visner, Chair of the Space ISAC Board of Directors, adds: “From its beginnings, the Space ISAC intended to build a global coalition of countries that share values and are committed to the collective defense of the space systems eco-system. France is a space systems and technology leader, and their partnership adds significant strength to our collective efforts. Threats to space systems continue to arise; strong partnerships that include operations, research, exercises, and daily collaboration make our efforts successful and the French Space Command is a powerful partner in this success.”

This collaboration brings together Space ISAC’s information sharing capabilities and the operational insight of the French Space Command. By combining our expertise, we’re creating new avenues for collaborative responses, shared threat intelligence, and enhanced situational awareness across the global space sector.

Together, Space ISAC and the French Space Command are charting a course for enduring collaboration. This MOU sets the stage for continued innovation, unity, and readiness in an increasingly contested and congested space environment.
