Space ISAC is the only all-threats security information source for the public and private space sector. It will be the most comprehensive, single point source for data, facts and analysis on space security and threats to space assets. Space ISAC will also provide analysis and resources to support response, mitigation and resilience initiatives.

Job Description: In this position, you will serve as a Space ISAC Watch Center Threat Hunter and Researcher, spanning a broad array of domains (intelligence, cyber, signals and space) plus multiple levels of responsibility to include research, reporting and briefing where appropriate or required. The candidate will serve under the Space ISAC Watch Center Operations Lead in direct support of the Space ISAC Watch Center. This position is intended for candidates pursuing broad concept analysis, correlation methodologies and delivering upon broadly impactful research initiatives that are ever-evolving with regards to the Space ISAC mission, needs and core values (flexible, collaborative, passionate about the mission, intellectually curious, attention to detail and tenacious). The candidate must have entry level experience with threat modeling and comprehension of gap analysis as it relates to disparate domains, authoring, updating and maintenance of playbooks plus how that relates to work or procedural flow & instructions. The ideal candidate must be able to recommend and assist with development of new content as a result of extruding key details relating to signatures, data sources, alerts, workflows, and will support procedural automation in order to improve threat understanding, collective security posture, and fusion of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) insights into an automated capture for broader dissemination.

Core Hours
Required: This Space ISAC Analyst role requires full time work and must be able to provide support during core hours of the Watch Center, between the hours of 08:00 – 5:00 pm MST.
Required: In-person support in Colorado Springs, CO.
Education
Required: Near completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience researching concepts and providing intelligence-based assessments.
Certification
Required: N/A
Desired: CompTIA Security + or GIAC Security Operations Certification (GSOC)
Clearance Eligibility
Required: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and comply with Space ISAC security protocols.
Desired: Ability to obtain, possess and sustain a TS/SCI – Top Secret with access to secure compartmentalized information (SCI).
Citizenship
Required: Candidate must be a United States citizen.
Experience
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of research, intelligence correlation and report generation experience within an academic institution or space & cyber industry employing various disparate sources.
- Minimum 1 year of cross-disciplinary experience with characterizing activities from adjacent and cross-domain elements.
- Understanding and comprehension of key terrain such as the Operational Environment or exposure surfaces from a broader commercial lens.
- Awareness of Security Operations Center (SOC) Level 1 concepts as it applies to different threat landscapes or functions.
Desired:
- 1 year of experience within or across an intelligence-based career field or discipline.
- Experience with cross-domain threat identification and or adversarial threat analysis.
- Experience with CTI and TIP platforms to include awareness of SOC functions and processes.
- Proficient with Macros, and Microsoft Products in order to help shape solutions plus automation.
- Proficient with scripting basics in order to aid data aggregation and insights methodology.
- Intelligence background and or familiarity with either the intelligence lifecycle or Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Threat Hunter and Researcher on-site within the Space ISAC Watch Center for at least 20 hours per week.
- Collaborates with and supports adjoining Space ISAC Watch Center functions to include phased migrations to reinforce efforts, shape correlation and development of products, deliverables, research and reporting content in support of the Space ISAC mission.
- Assists with generation, enrichment, research, correlation, and operational analysis under direct supervision of the Space ISAC, Watch Center Operations Lead.
- Foster understanding of cross-domain intelligence activities as a conduit towards evolving tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) leveraging multiple threat frameworks, significant activities (SIGACTs) as it relates to the broader threat landscape.
- Characterize and analyze associations and relationships between actors, nations, significant activities (SIGACTs), or multi-domain entities.

Position Overview:
Space ISAC (Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director and Deputy Director.

This role is crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations and effective coordination of high-level meetings and office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Calendar Management:
Schedule, coordinate, manage meetings, and tours for the Executive and Deputy Director.
Ensure all meetings are set with appropriate stakeholders and locations and handle any changes or conflicts promptly.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items as needed.
Office Administration:
Maintain and manage office supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and reordering as necessary.
Oversee general office cleanliness and organization, including coordinating with maintenance services.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
Document Management:
Take meeting minute notes for Collaborative groups.
Maintain and organize filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring documents are easily accessible and securely stored.
Support and Coordination:
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Deputy Director, including handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Assist in organizing special events, workshops, collaborative groups, and conferences as required.
Act as a liaison between the executive team and other staff members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Security:
Implement security measures for tours and visits to Space ISAC.
Maintain a visitor log of all visitors to Space ISAC.
Miscellaneous:
Provide support as needed to Space ISAC collaborative groups.
Perform other administrative tasks and projects as needed by the rest of the staff.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve office processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program or other student status
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a similar role within a non-profit or governmental organization.
Familiarity with Space industry or information security concepts is a plus.
