Colorado Springs, CO – Secured Quantum Services (SQS), a leader in true quantum-secure infrastructure, and the Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC) announced the launch of the SQS Quantum Testbed Initiative—a first-of-its-kind collaboration to operationalize quantum communication technologies for earth and space critical environments.

Unveiled at the 40th Space Symposium, the Quantum Testbed is now ready for industry and government engagement. This program will be held at Space ISAC facilities in Colorado Springs, Colorado, offering a mission-relevant environment for testing, validating, and scaling quantum secure solutions across national security, aerospace, and critical infrastructure sectors.

“We founded SQS to make quantum-native communication real, not theoretical. This launch reflects the forward leaning shift we’ve been building toward—moving quantum from concept to infrastructure. It’s the kind of leap that only comes from vision matched with execution.”
— Ray Schouten, CEO, Secured Quantum Services

“This testbed marks the beginning of a broader ecosystem where partners can come together to shape the standards, applications, and security models of the quantum era. Our goal is to create practical pathways for deployment—built around real use cases and real mission impact.”
— Zain Premji, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, SQS

“The space domain depends on trust, resilience, and speed—and quantum technology will play a central role in all three. This initiative is exactly the kind of collaborative innovation Space ISAC was created to support, and we’re proud to see it come to life in our facility.”
— Erin Miller, Executive Director, Space ISAC

“Quantum is not a future concern—it’s a present priority. The threats we face are evolving, and it’s vital that our defensive capabilities evolve with them. The SQS initiative at Space ISAC is more than a testbed—it’s a strategic foundation for the secure space enterprise of tomorrow.”
— Samuel Sanders Visner, Chair of the Board, Space ISAC

The Quantum Testbed is now accepting a limited number of paid pilot participants. Organizations are invited to explore, validate and explore mission-critical use cases, including but not limited to:
– AI/ML workloads needing secure, high-performance compute with reduced power consumption.
– Quantum-secure communication across terrestrial, orbital, and hybrid networks.
– Quantum-curious organizations seeking to understand how their systems, data, and operational workflows perform in a quantum-resilient environment.
– Organizations assessing risk exposure and integration strategies for quantum infrastructure adoption.

Pilot programs are intended to facilitate innovation and understanding of the transition to a quantum environment, at a swift pace.  All pilot organizations will receive hands-on support from SQS technical teams. Organizations across aerospace, defense, cloud, AI, and enterprise infrastructure are encouraged to apply for early access and ecosystem alignment.
